China Capital Investment Group (CCIG) engaged Gowdie Management Group to provide project management service for the project completion phase on the multi-million dollar refurbishment of Daydream Island Resort.

CCIG relied on our teams expertise of developing a recovery plan and delivering a strategy to attain project completion in time for the resort to achieve the soft opening date in April 2019 and official reopening in June 2019.

Our team prioritised trades in construction, plumbing, electrical, glazing, painting and landscape maintenance to assist the original project management firm and mitigate additional delays and budget blow outs.

Daydream Island Resort offers 277 modern rooms and suites with three restaurants, three bars and a free form coral lagoon spanning 200 metres wrapping around the building.

Our team are currently managing the defects liability period until end of 2019.
