KordaMentha appointed Gowdie Management Group to complete this three-storey commercial building in regional Victoria after is was placed into receivership.
We began by auditing the project to determine the scope of works required to complete a quality, compliant building, then we re-engaged many of the original local subcontractors to work alongside our construction team under the supervision of our trusted site manager.
This meant we were able to deliver the quality, safety and efficiency we are known for, while supporting local subcontractors that had been detrimentally impacted by the insolvency of the previous builder.
We also worked with the existing consulting team to find opportunities to fix the previous builder’s defective works in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
The project including a ground floor foyer and cafe tenancy, lift access and 47-bay car park, was deliver ahead of schedule and within budget, which meant KordaMentha could start marketing the building earlier than expected.
