Ernst & Young engaged Gowdie Management Group to carry out project management services for works at the Piazza Holiday Inn, Surfers Paradise after it was placed into receivership in January 2009.

Our team provided a scope of works for the staged refurbishment of the hotel’s car park which included the replacement of mechanical exhaust ducts and an assessment of safety and conformance.

Our team called for and analysed Stage One tenders based on adequacy and price. During Stage Two we assessed pipes and electrical cables to ensure they met Australian Standards and Gold Coast Council requirements.
