QUT’s Chancellery, required a substantial renovation including a complete refurbishment of the council room and offices occupied by the chancellor, vice chancellor, deputy vice chancellor and support staff.
Located in the heritage-listed U Block on the university’s Gardens Point campus, the Chancellery was to be transformed into a modern, functional and elegant office suite sympathetic to the buildings historical significance.
Gowdie Management Group was appointed to provide project management and superintendent services during construction and close out phases of the the project.
As the refurbishment took place during normal working hours a high level of sensitivity was given to carrying out all the necessary works with minimal disruption to students and staff.
