Queensland University of Technology engaged Gowdie Management Group to provide project management and superintendent services from concept phase through to construction and close-out for the Owen J Wordsworth Room in S Block, at its Gardens Point campus.

We  were involved in stakeholder consultations during the concept phase to ensure our client’s brief was the focus of design and planning outcomes. The significant refurbishment involved substantial architectural and structural upgrades to both the indoor and outdoor spaces.

The completed work provided enhanced city vistas from the area and increased the facility’s overall capacity. The upgrade included a new audio-visual system with large screen technology to further increase the functionality of the space.

This project was successfully completed in 2017.
