Gowdie Management Group provided project management and superintendent services during  construction of QUT’s electrical engineering and computer science laboratory on level 11 of S Block, Gardens Point. The entire floor was transformed from dated small offices and large workstation rooms to a contemporary open-plan space incorporating collaborative social hubs, offices, HDR (high dynamic resolution) workstations, meeting rooms, robotics and autonomous systems workrooms. The scope also included complete replacement of the air conditioning including new air handling units.

 We played a crucial role, maintaining regular communication with all stakeholders, ensuring noise impacts were kept to a minimum for surrounding teaching, research and office spaces.

The project  was completed on schedule and within budget, successfully meeting the needs of all user groups.
