Gowdie Management Group was appointed by Universal Self Storage Funds Management for project management services for a new self-storage facility located in Canterbury, Melbourne.

The five-storey facility, including a lower ground level, has a total building area of 9215 sqm. The facility includes 761 storage units, two goods lifts and an internal drive through for loading and unloading.

Our team assisted from the commencement of the development to manage the approval process. We coordinated the demolition of the existing buildings on the site and managed the lot amalgamation.

We were responsible for the engagement of contractors, managing the tender process, negotiating and preparing contracts, and acting as superintendent for the construction phase.
