Ashley Hutchinson has extensive experience in residential construction with a focus on high-end finishes and personal customer relationships. His formal carpentry qualification and experience in project management gives Ashley a unique skillset derived from hands-on construction works and technical requirements, as well as the face-to-face client perspective.

Ashley brings superior attention to detail to his work and effectively leads and manages teams of people to achieve project completion to the highest standard. He joined Gowdie Management Group in 2014 to assist with project management of the distressed Hopkins Correctional Centre (Ararat) expansion project, where he undertook major defect rectification for the revived consortium, including a large services role to ensure brief compliance. Today, he manages the interface between the State operator and the facilities management subcontractor.

Before joining Gowdie Management Group, Ashley worked for boutique residential construction and renovation company, L.A.K. Constructions, which specialises in traditional timber house renovations and construction of architecturally designed, custom built high-end homes. Ashley’s high-end residential finishing skills transfer directly to the commercial sector, where his supervision ensures finishing trades meet our clients’ high standards.

Ashley has exceptional communication and conflict management skills and is accomplished in managing jobs to schedule and budget while meeting the many complex needs of various stakeholders.
