Beverley Hollands is an accomplished, effective and outcome-oriented leader with more than 14 years’ experience as a client-side project manager in the building and construction industry. Her project portfolio includes boutique residential properties, financial institutions, community and education facilities, and significant aged care multipurpose developments.
Beverley is a strategic thinker with a resourceful aptitude for achieving agreed outcomes in complex projects. She is a hands-on project manager who implements a prepared and calculated approach to project management to meet the requirements of all stakeholders.
Solution-oriented and able to adapt to challenges throughout a project while keeping her team focussed, Beverley recently managed several projects for Queensland University of Technology (QUT). These included refurbishment of the Chancellery, the Medical Engineering Research Facility, a robotics laboratory and several teaching spaces and carparks, as well as construction of the Gardens Point Ferry Link lift and walkways in collaboration with Brisbane City Council.
Beverley has also managed several Westpac Banking Corporation refurbishments including statewide retail and business tenancies, its first ‘Bank Now’ concept branch in Australia, and development of two greenfield sites. Her understanding of the security and technology requirements of all stakeholders and her ability to deliver a project in a ‘business as usual’ environment ensured the successful delivery of each project.
Beverley is a skilled facilitator and a committed leader experienced in project planning, due diligence and feasibility analysis, consultant and contractor management, and stakeholder consultation and management. She is a strong communicator and formidable leader with a demonstrated capacity to manage project teams across a range of industries.
