Rod Fidler

Rod is an experienced Project Director with a demonstrated history of over 30 years experience within the Property Development and Construction industries.  Rod has established sort after skills in Property Development, Development Management, Design & Project Management, Feasibility Studies to name a few.

Rod leads large teams providing leadership and direction involved in property acquisition, selection and assessments.  Rod has project delivery experience with master planned communities, medium and high density residential development, medium and large scale mixed use development and hotel and commercial developments.

Rod joined GMG in 2022 as Project Director leading the development team for Sydney University’s redevelopment of the City Road Precinct.  Rod’s ability to successfully manage and bring together multiple stakeholders in supporting the University’s Master Plan is critical to  initial and future stages of the development.  Diverse developments with complex challenges drive Rod to ensure ‘best practice’ is achieved in all facets of project delivery.

Rod’s previous experience as Lend Lease Project Engineer saw delivery of major infrastructure for government health departments in NSW and QLD being ST Vincent’s Hospital & Royal North Shore Hospital, Herston Hospitals Complex Redevelopment.

As Citimark Properties National Development Director, Rod delivered numerous residential and commercial projects across Australia.  The foremost being Synergy at Kelvin Grove Urban Village in collaboration with Queensland University of Technology delivering 15,000 NLA commercial over 6 storeys.
