Tom Gregory

Bachelor of Engineering, Civil

Tom has several years of experience applying his Civil Engineering degree to practical settings and he has an extensive understanding of construction and engineering principles. Tom has worked as a civil engineer for design consultancies in both Sydney and London on large scale highways and civil infrastructure projects for various government authorities.

Tom’s various roles – engaged with NSW Road and Maritime Services – saw him working closely with Design management teams and being responsible for engineering design and the documentation of various civil packages. Tom has experience in civil drainage, flood mitigation structures and storm water design, modelling and documentation on several NSW Pacific Highway upgrades: Kempsey Pacific Highway; Berry to Bomaderry; Narellan Rd, Narellan.

Tom has applied his excellent skills in quantity estimation and procurement on several large civil infrastructure projects along the New South Wales coastal communities. Specifically, Tom was focused on functional improvements, which resulted in substantial cost savings whilst also maintaining consistency with environmental approvals.

Tom has additional experience in project financial monitoring, resource programming and subcontractor management. Along with a keen eye for detail, analytical thinking and problem solving skills, Tom’s skill set is a valuable asset and complements the Gowdie team.
