James joined Gowdie Management Group in 2010 as an executive analyst with our Raine Square project management team. James soon expanded this demanding role by taking on the position of manager and document controller, helping our team take the project from receivership in 2010 to successful completion in 2013.
Since joining Gowdie Management Group James has accrued valuable practical experience in project and construction management, working on several other high-profile projects, including the Hopkins Correctional Centre (Ararat) Expansion Project public-private partnership.
James excels in project design and cost control, construction and facilities management, mixed use commercial developments and distressed asset management.
Before entering the construction industry James specialised in information technology where he gained valuable experience across a diverse range of industries and software platforms, making him a versatile and valuable member of our team.
While working for mining and engineering firm, Ground Probe, James provided technical support to staff on software applications and hardware configurations. His experience then extended into the retail sector where his management skills were established as chief technician and manager of a speciality computer and information systems company providing custom-built hardware design and IT support.
James is certified in Oracle Primavera P6 Professional 8.3 and Aconex project administration and document control.
